Together this vocal/piano jazz duo perform jazz standards combined with torch songs/ballads. A founding member of the Aussie rock band ZOOT along with Rick Springfield (Jessie’s Girl) and Beeb Birtles (Little River Band)….
Their classic 1970’s recording of Eleanor Rigby was a gold record no: 1 and established ZOOT as one of the most popular Australian bands of that era.
The mid 70’s saw Darryl based in the US and recording 3 albums including the Billboard top 40 hit “I go to Pieces”…He appeared on a number of US TV shows such as American Bandstand and the “Midnite Special” and toured with Olivia Newton John and Cliff Richard.
A successful solo career followed and songwriting credits for such artists as Mississippi, The New Seekers, Shaun Cassidy and Englebert Humperdink…..In 1980 he scored a top 10 Australian hit with the self penned “Same Old Girl” and became a regular face on the ABC’s Countdown.

AFL football star Russell Robertson releases his first album, 'HIGHER' through Universal Music...

Russell will be performing and launching his new album on The Footy show, Nine Network on the 28th of August followed by a national tour .

It was television that first brought Russell Robertson to the public eye – he was drafted to the Melbourne Football Club from Tasmania’s under 18s after recruiters saw him featured in a home video on the Footy Show’s ‘Almost Football Legends‘.

Making his debut in 1997, Robertson soon became known as one of the game’s best high-flying forwards, taking numerous “Marks of the Week” and twice leading club goal kicking.

The 2003 Best & Fairest winner had a golden year in 2005, playing for Australia in the International Rules series against Ireland. He was named the Leading Goal Kicker that year, an accolade he had previously enjoyed in 2001.

Last year Robertson experienced a setback after a strong start to the season. An awkward landing during the Melbourne v Hawks game saw him injuring the medial ligament in his knee, missing seven weeks of football.

Recently he signed a two-year contract with the Demons which will see him to the end of 2009.

A sought-after corporate speaker, Robertson is already well-known to viewers of The Footy Show and Before The Game. A talented singer/guitarist, Robertson has played in numerous bands including No Soup For You and the Russell Robertson Trio

The Young Voices of Melbourne was founded in February 1990 by Mark O'Leary and is now regarded as one of Australia's finest children's choirs. There are currently 130 children from 6 - 17 years enrolled in the programme who rehearse weekly in one of four groups. We are proud of our achievements since 1990 - here are some of the highlights!
