Known for her wicked and quick sense of humour, two-time TV Week Gold Logie winner and Australian
entertainment icon Denise Drysdale has been entertaining audiences for over six decades.
Denise’s  television credits include Studio Ten, The Circle, Spicks and Specks, Please Like Me, The NormanGunston Show, Celebrity Squares, Young Talent Time, Countdown, Division Four, The Ernie Sigley Show, Homicide and Bellbird.

Originally from Victoria, Denise was employed as Melbourne’s first television go-go dancer at the age of just 17. Her popularity led to the Australian Government inviting her to perform for the troops in Vietnam in 1967.
In 1974 Denise became Ernie Sigley’s barrel girl on The Ernie Sigley Show, where she was affectionately named Ding Dong.
In 1975 and 1976 Denise won the TV Week Gold Logie Award for the Most Popular Female Personality on Australian television. She also won the TV Week Silver Logie Award for Most Popular Female Personality in both of those years.
In 2018 Australia Post paid tribute to Denise by releasing her very own postage stamp as part of their Legends of entertainment series. Other notable Australians to receive the same honour are Bert Newton, Ray Martin, Kerri-Anne Kennerley and Daryl Somers.

More recently in April 2024 Denise had a fun time in the jungle as a contestant on the Network Ten reality series
I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
Denise still entertains with her popular cabaret show ‘Dine Out With Ding Dong’ and also speaks to corporate audiences about her career and life lessons learnt along the way.
